Options for workshop presenters

If you have facilitated a J4IW fundraising workshop, please consider sharing your workshop template with us so that other educators may add it (with acknowledgement of course) to their resources. It could be a video, a slide-show, various images, a lesson plan – whatever content is in your workshop. These are options that can save other presenters time and energy, and help build a collegial body of experience.

For example, the first two links below go to a workshop lesson plan and slideshow taken from a presentation created by Pei-Ju Wang and Sylvia Smith. They wanted their participants to understand the link between resource extraction and violence against Indigenous women. The third link is a presentation that Jennifer King and Sylvia Smith made to the Ottawa Carleton District School Board.

We believe that greater sharing of resources with acknowledgement, helps create better education materials and enriches us all.

Simply forward your links or resources to, and we’ll make sure they go on the J4IW website, with attribution and acknowledgement.
