2018-2020 Partner

All funds raised by schools and community groups go directly to support justice for Indigenous women. This includes supporting organizations and agencies whose work has a direct impact on the lives Indigenous women and their families.

Justice for Indigenous Women is pleased to announce that our 2018 to 2020 partnership initiative is with Aboriginal Youth Opportunities (AYO), a Winnipeg-based Indigenous youth-led organization.

To see why J4IW approached AYO with a partnership proposal, check out the excellent work they do here. AYO have produced an easy-to-share youtube video as well.

A quick overview from the AYO website:

AYO! (Aboriginal Youth Opportunities) is a youth movement from Winnipeg’s North End. We develop relationships with organizations, media, government and businesses in order to empower each other. This group is led by young people volunteering and sharing their gifts with others. We listen to the ideas of young people, plan them, and love them until they become reality. We are committed to helping our North End to heal and will work with those who share our vision to provide ABORIGINAL YOUTH with more OPPORTUNITIES!

We are already enjoying working with our new program partner – AYO!
